Senior Human Resources Advisor

Overview
We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Senior HR Advisor to join the People team at a leading Higher Education Institute during a period of restructure and organisational change.This is a key role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, with a particular focus on employee relations and supporting individuals through change. You will attend and guide sensitive meetings, review and approve follow-up actions, and oversee documentation such as settlement agreements and redundancy confirmations. You’ll also ensure enhanced redundancy payments are applied fairly and consistently in line with policy.What you’ll do
Advise on employee relations matters including redundancy, grievance and performance.Support and attend individual meetings, ensuring clear process and accurate documentation.Review and approve settlement agreements and redundancy letters.Manage enhanced redundancy payments.Ensure compliance with employment law while promoting inclusion and fairness.About you
Significant experience in complex employee relations casework.Strong knowledge of UK employment law and settlement agreements.Excellent communicator, confident in handling sensitive issues.Organised, professional and able to juggle multiple cases.Seniority level
