Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools across Wellingborough, who are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive and experienced teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs. The roles available vary from supporting students with autism and communication difficulties to working with pupils who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Whether you have previous experience in SEN or are looking to begin a rewarding career in special education, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
• Helping students with personal care (if required)
• Managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

What We''re Looking For:

• A caring and patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Previous experience in an SEN or care setting is desirable, but not essential
• Willingness to undertake training and development
• A Level 1 qualification or above
