Teaching Assistant - Wellingborough
Salary: -90115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: ASAP or Negotiable

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a school within Wellingborough, a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school, to recruit a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to support students across a range of abilities and needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated team, supporting students both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions, helping them to achieve their full potential in a positive and nurturing environment.

The Role:

• Work closely with teaching staff to support learning activities across a variety of subjects
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs
• Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom experience
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support strategies
• Support students'' academic progress as well as their emotional and social development

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in an educational setting
• A calm, patient and proactive approach
• A genuine desire to make a difference in young people''s lives
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications or training in education/SEND (desirable)
