We are working with a growing and dynamic restaurant group in London that is looking to hire a Head of Learning and Development. This role offers the opportunity to own the LandD strategy and shape the future of the business by developing its people. It will suit someone who is passionate about hospitality, experienced in leading learning functions, and ready to build and deliver impactful development programmes across a multi-site operation.What you’ll do
Design and implement a group-wide learning and development strategy aligned with the business’s values and goalsLead training programmes across all levels, from onboarding and service standards to management developmentBuild clear career pathways to support employee progression and retentionWork closely with senior leadership, general managers, and HR to identify training needs and tailor programmes accordinglyDevelop and implement blended learning solutions, including digital, classroom, and on-the-job learningTrack, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of training initiativesWhat we’re looking for
Previous experience in a senior LandD role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or a fast-paced service-led environmentA strategic thinker who can also deliver hands-on, practical training across all levels of the businessProven ability to design and implement development programmes that drive performance and engagementStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departmentsPassionate about developing people and building a positive, learning-focused cultureSeniority level
