The Head of Delivery will drive the timely delivery of the Stream, actively tracking progress against key milestones, managing risks and issues and providing input into key reports. Successful candidate will work with the Product Owner to deliver a One Informa event experience. The purpose is to create a seamless, personalised experience before, during, and after events
Reporting to the One Informa Executive (OIE) Accountable, this role works in close collaboration with the Stream Product Owners, Business SME''s and Stream Tech, Change and Finance Partners to ensure effective delivery across the Stream.
Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesProgramme Delivery
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Stream
Develop and maintain detailed Stream plans, timelines, and resource plans to meet the milestone and change drop timelines
Manage dependencies, risks, and issues across the Stream
Ensure effective Stream governance and control frameworks are in place
Identify and manage Stream risks and issues
Monitor and report on Stream progress, milestones, risks and issues, decisions and escalations, outcomes, financial updates and change requests where required
Implementation Management
Coordinate delivery teams across the Stream
Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout delivery
Collaborate with the Change Partner to support the delivery of training, change and comms activities
Ensure that the Streams end-end solutions are scrutinised by the right people at the right time, i.e. tech, data, Enterprise Architect, Experience Architect, Business SME''s etc.
Budget Management
Collaborate with the Stream Finance Partner to ensure that projects are delivered within the budget, manage any financial constraints
Manage resource allocation and capacity planning
QualificationsProject Management
Extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex transformation programmes
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
Proven track record in delivering complex technical solutions
Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
Experience managing risks and issues
Technical Understanding
Strong grasp of the Media / Events website and Events landscape, with knowledge and understanding of IT migrations
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and associated software
Proficiency in using data and metrics to inform decision making
Experience with project management tools and task management (e.g., building and managing project timelines)
Communication and Collaboration
Ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
Experience in working with senior leadership teams
Qualifications
Extensive experience of leading delivery of complex transformation programmes, ideally including customer experience transformation programmes
Degree in Business, Technology, or related field or other relevant qualifications
Advanced project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
