Job Description:About the role

We are looking to appoint a full-time Lecturer (Teaching) in Medical Anthropology starting in December through to 30 September.

You will be responsible for preparing and delivering teaching materials, supervising and grading dissertations, and providing excellent academic support for students. You will collaborate closely with department members to ensure the teaching provision meets the students'' requirements.

About you

You will hold a PhD in Medical Anthropology or a closely related field, with demonstrable experience and proven ability in teaching the subject. Additionally, you will have experience in conducting ethnographic research, along with skills in marking academic work and providing constructive feedback at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Proven ability to conduct high-quality research, demonstrated through authorship of reputable publications or other research outputs in Medical Anthropology, is also required.
