We are recruiting a Paralegal to join our first-class Industrial Disease team in Manchester. The Disease team handles a wide range of matters, including asbestos (mesothelioma and related illnesses), hearing loss and deafness, skin cancer and respiratory diseases/illnesses. The successful applicant will support fee earners with handling client matters, offer a high level of care, and ensure compliance with the National Practice Standards. The role also involves managing the financial aspects of matters, including time recording, billing and debtor management, enabling the individual to meet their own fee targets and to support the fee earners with theirs. We would consider candidates with experience in Disease work, or those from related practice areas (e.g., serious injury, EL/PL).

Responsibilities

Support fee earners with handling client matters and deliver a high level of service

Manage financial aspects of matters, including time recording, billing and debtor management

Assist with case administration and ensure compliance with the firm’s standards

Qualifications and experience

Experience of Disease work is preferred

We will consider applicants from related practice areas (e.g., serious injury, EL/PL)
