Are you an enthusiastic children''s nurse looking for a new opportunity? Do you have a passion for delivering high quality care to children, young people and their families in the emergency department? If so, this is the opportunity for you! We have close links with the Paediatric ward, Paediatric Assessment Area, and the Day Surgery Unit who care for children and young people undergoing day case surgery. You will be assisting in the delivery of a family-centered, clinically effective and dynamic service from the child/young person\''s admission to discharge.

Admin and Clerical staff may be required to act as Loggists for a major incident. Everyone within the Trust has or will shortly need to have a minimum level of skill for computer literacy for their day-to-day work as we become more digitally mature. Therefore all staff should be computer literate.

Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of a family-centered, clinically effective and dynamic service from admission to discharge for children and young people.

Collaborate with the Paediatric ward, Paediatric Assessment Area, and Day Surgery Unit in caring for children and young people undergoing day case surgery.

Be prepared to act as a Loggist for major incidents if required.

Maintain computer literacy as part of day-to-day work and support digital maturity within the Trust.
