The Business Development Manager, will be responsible for: Identify, target, and secure new opportunities for energy management services, EPCs, Demand Side Response (DSR), and Smart Grid participation in both private and public sectors. Achieve and exceed a personal sales target of £2m annualised revenue. Develop a strong pipeline through self-generated leads, networking, and leveraging the existing client base. Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualification, bid development, pricing, presentations, negotiation, and contract close. Build senior-level relationships with client decision-makers, including CFOs, COOs, Sustainability Directors, and Estate Managers. Understand client challenges in cost reduction, carbon reduction, compliance, and ESG, and translate these into tailored solutions. Position the company as a long-term strategic partner by cross-selling Consulting and Energy Solutions services.
