• Salary: -90 - 110 per day, dependant on experience
• Temporary, ongoing Contract
• Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday)

SEN Teaching Assistant Specification

We are currently seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time job in a specialist school in South Birmingham. This is working with primary aged children with a range of learning and complex needs.

To be considered you must have a passion for supporting SEND learners and have an expert knowledge of the school curriculum, along with and having a caring and nurturing approach to your work.

• You must be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2 or 3 minimum)
• Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system
• Have worked with ASD/Complex/Medical needs
• Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
• Ideally have worked at least 12 months within Special Needs
• Safeguarding level 1 trained
• Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners

The school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant

As such they need a strong member of staff who can build rapport and work with the students. They are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge and experience in supporting students with these specific needs.

You will need to have a strong ability with a range of learning and development needs, including those with complex medical needs.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, and passionate about working with children. As a specialist SEND setting, it''s essential that you are both professional and diligent, as you will be working independently with pupils who have a wide range of abilities and requirements.
