Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Location: Nuneaton, CV10
Weekly Rate: -460 - -500 per week
Contract: Long-term to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 child with ASD and social-emotional needs. Your role will involve:
Providing consistent 1:1 support in the classroom and during unstructured times
Implementing strategies for emotional regulation and behaviour support
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities
Building trust and positive relationships to support engagement and progress
What We''re Looking For
Previous experience supporting SEN children, particularly Autism and SEMH needs
Knowledge of strategies for emotional regulation and attachment
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
