About Us:

We are a well-established and growing construction company based in Surrey, known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial building projects across the region. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are now looking for a skilled-CAD Technician-to join our dynamic team and support our design and construction processes.

The Role:

As a-CAD Technician, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD, ensuring our projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and site teams to develop detailed construction drawings and ensure design intent is accurately reflected on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and amend 2D drawings using AutoCAD to support project planning and construction.
• Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings.
• Maintain and update drawing registers and documentation.
• Work closely with the design and project management teams to resolve design issues.
• Ensure all drawings are produced in line with company standards and client requirements.
• Assist in the coordination of drawings between different disciplines (e.g. structural, mechanical).

Requirements:

• Proficient in-AutoCAD-with a strong understanding of technical drawing standards.
• Previous experience in a-construction or architectural environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of building regulations and construction processes is a plus.
• Experience with other CAD software (e.g. Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage but not essential.
