We''re delighted to be partnering with a leading retail business as they seek to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner - a pivotal role within their People team. In this role, you''ll work closely with the Head Office Leadership Team, acting as a trusted advisor on all People matters. You''ll support the head office population, shaping critical business decisions while balancing commercial needs with HR best practice and UK employment law.Reporting into the People Director, you''ll lead a team of five (three direct reports), with significant scope to grow and develop the function further.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as strategic partner to the Head Office population at all levels, influencing across all People-related matters.Provide expert guidance on UK employment law and act as the go-to for complex employee relations.Lead, develop, and mentor a team of HR professionals.Support and challenge senior stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes aligned with People strategy.Drive continuous improvement and ensure HR best practice across the business.About YouProven experience in strategic HR business partnering at senior level.Strong background in UK employment law with the confidence to advise on complex legal matters.Experience partnering with Head Office functions; retail sector exposure is highly desirable.A track record of successfully leading and developing a team.Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge and gain buy-in at senior leadership level.This is a ..... full job details .....
