Vacancy | Lecturer in Health Care. Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum. Salary: Between £31,185 and £40,267 per annum (plus market pay supplement if applicable). Closing Date: 22/09/2025.
The thriving team of Health, part of a busy department offering Health, Care, Science and Sport, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic full-time Health Care Lecturer to teach primarily on our T Level Health Programmes, but also at Levels 1 to 3. There may also be an opportunity to deliver on our new HTQ Level 4/5 Healthcare Professions\'' Support Programme. The successful candidate will join the team at a time when involvement in the design of the new curricula for 16-18 and Adult Learning Programmes will play a part in the role.
Responsibilities
Teach primarily on T Level Health Programmes, with delivery also on Levels 1–3.
Contribute to the design and development of new curricula for 16–18 and Adult Learning Programmes.
Prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support learners effectively.
Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and industry experience; contribute to curriculum design and delivery.
Qualifications
A degree in Health, Nursing or appropriate Healthcare profession.
A Level 5 teaching qualification.
A proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning practices.
Ability to prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality, engaging, and dynamic lessons that support learners effectively.
Additionally, having up-to-date subject knowledge and industry experience, as well as expertise in curriculum design and delivery, would be highly advantageous.
