About Newham CollegeNewham College London, now merged with NewVIc Sixth Form College, is the largest post-16 education provider in Newham. The Role
Fixed term cover until 3 July 2026. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality teaching to 16–18 learners on full-time study programmes, specialising in Art and Design and Graphic Design. Alongside delivering engaging lessons, you’ll provide guidance and support to students, act as a personal tutor, assess progress, and inspire young people to achieve their academic, personal and vocational goals.

About YouWe’re looking for someone who can motivate and inspire the next generation of designers. You’ll bring:
A degree in Graphic Design (essential).
Strong teaching experience with 16+ learners, including varied abilities.
Comprehensive subject knowledge up to Level 3.
GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PCET, or Level 5 Diploma in Education) – or willingness to work towards one (desirable).
Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills.
