We''re looking for a Property Tax Manager to join our Group Finance division, supporting our Private Markets property portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both advisory and compliance responsibilities, partnering with investment teams and finance stakeholders to manage tax risks and unlock opportunities.We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.What you''ll be doing:Providing tax support across the lifecycle of property investments including structuring, acquisition, holding, and exitAdvising on transaction tax issues such as SDLT, VAT, tax residence, and transfer pricingManaging UK corporation tax, partnership tax, REIT compliance, and other relevant filingsOverseeing outsourced providers and internal stakeholders throughout compliance processesImplementing tax risk controls and governance frameworks aligned with Group Tax strategyActing as the main tax contact for designated Private Markets teams and supporting investor queriesPreparing documentation to support board decisions and tax filing positionsCollaborating with fellow tax managers and building strong relationships across the businessQualificationsWho we''re looking for:Holding a professional accounting or taxation qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA) with property tax experienceDemonstrating strong knowledge of UK property tax including REITs, VAT, SDLT, and capital allowancesCommunicating complex tax issues clearly to non-specialistsManaging outsourced advisors and internal workflows effectivelyShowing strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsBeing proactive, organised, and capable of handling multiple prioritiesUnderstanding UK and offshore fund structures and tax implications under IFRS and UK GAAPRemaining responsive to regulatory change and contributing to process improvementsWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
