Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive OfficerLocation: Central London (Office-based with flexible working options depending on business needs)Salary: £50,000 per annumAbout the Role:We are seeking a proactive and dynamic EA to provide comprehensive executive-level support to an innovative and forward-thinking CEO of a leading barrister’s chambers. This is a varied and exciting role that will be central to the smooth running of the CEO’s day-to-day activities.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys challenges, and is truly passionate about delivering high-quality support.Key Responsibilities:Manage complex and detailed calendars, diaries, and schedules.Coordinate both internal and external meetings, ensuring logistics are handled smoothly.Arrange detailed domestic and international travel plans (flights, accommodation, transportation, itineraries, etc.).Maintain effective filing systems (electronic and hard copy).Manage the CEO’s social media accounts and prepare travel-related documentation.Process invoices and manage expense claims.Serve as the CEO’s primary point of contact, ensuring efficient communication with staff, clients, and external parties.Screen and prioritize incoming calls and emails.Assist in drafting and preparing high-quality communication for internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate business development and internal events.Research and gather information for internal projects and events.Lead and coordinate ad-hoc projects as required.Provide general support to ensure the smooth operation of the Chambers.Help build a strong, collaborative team culture with open communication.Key requirementsExceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including proof-reading ability).Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.Ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay calm under pressure.A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.High levels of discretion, particularly in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).What’s on Offer:A salary of £50,000 per annum + discretionary annual bonus.23 - 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.After successful probation, an excellent benefits package including private medical insurance, life insurance, interest-free season ticket loan, and more.A modern and spacious office with excellent facilities.A culture that supports work-life balance, health, social, and wellbeing initiatives.Flexibility:While this role is predominantly office-based, there is the potential for some flexibility to work from home, once you have completed the training and probationary period.
