This role is based in Chorley with hybrid working options and initial in-office training.Department: Service OperationsReports To: Service Support Shift LeadWork Location: Chorley – HybridHours of Work: 37.5Position Type: Full-TimeRate Type: SalaryGrade: 3The Application Support team is responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the Titanium, Pricing and Billing Suite of ESG applications that serve Energy Market Participant clients. Daily activities range from incident resolution to large-scale project delivery. Analysts work with internal teams to support day-to-day running of client services.Flexible working patterns are available where possible; however, during initial training in-office presence is essential. Our UK office is based in Chorley.Responsibilities
Provide front line support to customersTroubleshoot and resolve software problems, internally and externallyProvide application support and guidance, internally and externallyComplete incident reportsParticipate in helpdesk review and analysisInstall, configure, and maintain software applications in test and production environmentsCollaborate with Infrastructure, Network and Product Development teams to investigate complex issues and implement solutionsShare knowledge and document problems and resolutions for future referenceDevelop documentation to aid deployment and operation of software applicationsCreate upgrade procedure mappings for general and specific scenariosDemonstrate knowledge of the ESG product suite to support deployments in customer environmentsRecord and maintain system documentation and software inventoriesFollow procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequateUnderstand configuration management and participate in change control processesSupport quality control activities to comply with standardsProject Work
Assist in the implementation of new and amended solutionsReport progress and participate in progress meetingsProvide estimates for effort and elapsed time; flag deviations from planAbout You
