Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week at our South London offices.Key Responsibilities

Ensure the data protection framework supports the highest standards of privacy and security.Provide expert guidance on best practices to stakeholders.Oversee SARs, data breaches, and ensure regulatory compliance.Deliver engaging training sessions to staff.Collaborate with IT, legal, and safeguarding teams to embed privacy by design.Conduct audits and risk assessments to strengthen data security.Candidate Profile

Experience:

Strong background in data protection, preferably in education or multi-site organizations.Knowledge:

GDPR, DPA, safeguarding considerations related to children’s data.Communication:

Ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance for school leaders and staff.Problem-solving:

Proactive approach to managing privacy risks and incidents.Training and Awareness:

Experience in developing and delivering accessible data protection training.Qualifications:

Certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM are a plus but not essential.Application Process
