Experienced HR Manager to Support and Strengthen a Creative Design Studio

A collaborative team of architects and designers is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join them on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable professional who enjoys combining strategic HR knowledge with day-to-day operational support.The successful candidate will play a central role in nurturing a positive and engaging workplace culture, while ensuring compliance and consistency across all areas of HR. Reporting to the board of directors, you’ll be trusted to deliver reliable, professional advice and build effective connections at every level of the business.Key responsibilities include:Managing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and complianceOverseeing company HR systems (Access People HR) and accurate record-keepingCoordinating payroll with external providersLeading recruitment processes, onboarding, and internshipsOrganising CPD, training, performance reviews, and development initiativesManaging employee benefits, wellbeing programmes, and engagementOverseeing Health and Safety compliance in collaboration with an external advisorProviding clear and concise HR reporting to directorsWhat we’re looking for:Minimum 5 years’ HR experience , including generalist HR supportStrong communication skills and a confident, approachable mannerExcellent organisation and attention to detailIntegrity, discretion, and a proactive, professional outlookSolid knowledge of HR policies, practices, and legislationProficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with HR software an advantage)Background in architecture, interiors, or design is beneficial but not essential — an interest in creative industries is welcomedThis is a part-time role with flexibility across working days, hours, and a balance of office and remote working.We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job.
