Join a Growing Pre-Construction Team at a Leading Specialist Contractor

We are working with a well-established contractor specialising in landscaping, earthworks, sports fields, and public realm projects, who have recently secured a significant pipeline of work through partnership with a highly reputable Tier 1 contractor.

As a result of this exciting growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute individual looking to play a key role in securing and shaping high-profile external works projects across the UK.

• Take full responsibility for estimating tender submissions on a range of landscaping and groundworks projects

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices

• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required

• Work closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and the wider pre-construction team

• Provide value engineering input and cost advice throughout the bid process

• Proven experience as an Estimator within landscaping, earthworks, sports fields, or public realm works

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering and external works packages

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with estimating software and proficient in Excel

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

• -60,000 - -70,000 per annum, depending on experience
