to help drive commercial success and audience development across our growing slate of podcast content.

We’re looking for a commercially minded, creatively-driven

Podcast Growth Lead

to spearhead the growth and monetisation of DMG Media’s podcast portfolio. This is a hybrid role sitting across commercial, content, and marketing – ideal for someone who knows how to sell a vision, pitch an idea, and back it up with brilliant execution.

You’ll be responsible for building compelling go-to-market strategies for new shows, developing sales narratives and collateral, identifying commercial partners, and working closely with editorial and production teams to ensure our podcasts reach the widest possible audience.

Main Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy and Sales Enablement

Develop and implement monetisation strategies for podcasts through sponsorship, branded content, and ad sales.Collaborate with both editorial and the commercial team to pitch podcast opportunities to clients and agencies.Identify new revenue opportunities across DMG Media’s audio and cross-platform ecosystem

Creative Ideation and Pitching

Work cross-functionally to brainstorm and develop original podcast concepts with commercial viability.Create and deliver high-impact pitch decks and proposals for internal and external stakeholders.Tailor pitches to suit advertiser objectives, audience needs, and brand positioning.

Collateral and Asset Development

Produce compelling sales collateral, including one-pagers, media kits, case studies, and sizzle reels.Manage the consistency and quality of all supporting materials to reflect the DMG Media brand and the tone of each podcast.

Audience Growth and Marketing

Collaborate with marketing teams to launch and promote podcasts effectively.Contribute to podcast growth strategies including social campaigns, partnerships, cross-promotion, and platform optimisation.

Performance Monitoring and Optimisation

Track performance metrics such as downloads, listener engagement, and revenue impact.Use insights to optimise leads, pitches, packages, and content promotion strategies.

Person Specification

Strong background in media, advertising, or content marketing – ideally with experience in podcasting, audio, or digital publishing.Proven track record in sales, commercial development, or business growth roles.Outstanding pitching and presentation skills – comfortable in front of senior stakeholders and clients.Highly creative with the ability to develop original ideas and turn them into viable business propositions.Strong design and writing skills – able to produce polished collateral and decks (PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva etc.).Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and strong commercial acumen.Knowledge of podcast platforms, audience analytics, and the wider media landscape.
