Senior Building Physics Engineer

Building Services Recruiter | Engineering and Building Services | Connecting Top Talent Across the UK and AustraliaReporting to the Head of Energy, Sustainability and Innovation, you’ll help design and model buildings that balance energy efficiency and occupant health and wellbeing. You’ll oversee a team of Building Physics Engineers who are involved in creating complex geometry, CIBSE TM54 assessments, early-stage HVAC modelling, CIBSE TM52, CIBSE TM59, and Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) technology feasibility studies. You’ll use IES ApacheHVAC to drive modelling for NABERS (DfP) and use digital twins and automation to drive greater efficiency. You’ll also be involved in some RandD and benefit from their CIBSE-approved training and development program. As a Building Performance Engineer, you’ll be involved in a range of diverse projects, including offices, hospitals, schools and universities, mixed-use developments, and high-rise residential towers. In addition to Building Performance Modelling (DfP) using IESVe, you’ll also be involved in broader sustainability tasks such as whole life carbon (WLC) and embodied carbon calculations, NZC roadmaps, and energy and sustainability strategies. This role offers a 35-hour week, 26 days leave, 5% pension, ongoing CPD, a hybrid working week of 3 days in the office, and a clear path to Partner.Responsibilities

Solid understanding of building services such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.Ideally, a CIBSE Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA).Benefits
