HR and Payroll Officer 13 per hourBorough Hall, MK42 9APASAP Until end of October 2025Hybrid working- Fully office based to start Job Summary:We are recruiting for a HR and Payroll Transactions Officer to join our client''s Personnel Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with strong payroll knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Provide an efficient and effective HR and Payroll administrative service to the Council, Schools, and external clients.Manage the employee lifecycle, including:Starters, leavers, and changes to employmentOvertime and casual hoursMileage and expensesMaternity, paternity, and redundancy paymentsStatutory and voluntary deductionsStudent loans, tax notifications, and other payroll-related transactionsAssist in the calculation and payment of all relevant deductions in line with Council policy and procedures.Provide advice and guidance to employees, schools, and external clients on:Terms and conditions of employmentCouncil policies and proceduresTransactional servicesMonitor sickness absence and support HR Business Partners and Employee Relations Advisors with related actions.Essential Criteria:Educated to NVQ Level 3 or A-Level equivalent with strong numeracy skills and the ability to perform complex calculations.Significant experience and sound working knowledge of Payroll and HR, including policies, procedures, and employment terms across ..... full job details .....
