Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to contribute their expertise to our kitchen for 46 weeks per year.Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your speciality sectionEnsure all food is cooked to the required standard and presented in a timely mannerMaintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulationsAssist in menu planning and development of new dishesSupervise and train junior kitchen staff within your sectionManage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as neededCollaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operationsContribute to the overall efficiency and success of the kitchen team
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar roleCulinary degree or diploma from a recognised institutionCurrent Food Safety CertificationExcellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trendsStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and toolsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and lead junior staffCreativity and passion for creating exceptional culinary experiencesFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when requiredSpecialisation in a particular area of cuisine (e.g., sauces, pastry, fish) is desirableCommitment to working 46 weeks per year in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom
