Group Management Accountant 6-month FTC ASAP StartAltum Consulting are recruiting for a Group Management Accountant to join a large retail business based in Central London. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering group management reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across a multi-entity environment.The successful candidate will take ownership of the consolidated monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting cycles, and group-level financial analysis. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, this role requires strong commercial acumen, technical capability, and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insight.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts across the GroupLead the group budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and performance commentaryDevelop and enhance reporting packs, KPIs, and dashboards for senior leadershipDrive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and controlsRequired Skills and ExperienceACA / CA qualified accountant with 1-3 years post-qualified experience (practice-trained preferred)Practical experience in management accounting at group levelProven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisExcellent understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP and group reporting requirementsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Confident ..... full job details .....
