Duties and Responsibilities as a Junior Sous Chef
Knowledge of seasonal produce and new products on the market and awareness of culinary trends
Manage and support the team in line with business needs and guest expectations
Ensure hygiene and sanitation guidelines are strictly adhered to, and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly
Minimize waste to help ensure that the budget and sustainability measures are adhered to
Mentor and coach colleagues to ensure maximum engagement and a smooth operation
About youYou are an experienced and motivated chef with strong leadership and organisational skills. You support the Head Chefs in managing kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and help train and guide the team. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
