The Opportunity
Are you passionate about inclusive education? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? ABC Teachers is proud to be working in partnership with the Thrive Education Partnership – a family of specialist academies across the West Midlands, dedicated to transforming the life opportunities of students with Autism, Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, and complex learning difficulties.
We are recruiting Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Student Support Workers to join this incredible network of schools, all of which provide nurturing, trauma-informed environments that empower students to achieve and thrive.
Whether you''re experienced in SEND or looking to start a fulfilling new chapter in education, we want to hear from you. We are offering Full Time, Part Time and Bank Opportunities as well as Temporary to Permanent work.
The Schools
Thrive Education Partnership academies are diverse, inclusive, and purpose-built for students with additional needs. Each school provides a tailored curriculum, small class sizes, and a high staff-to-student ratio to ensure every learner receives personalised support. You’ll be joining a network of schools that values teamwork, well-being, and ongoing professional development.
Your Role May Include:
Delivering or supporting engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with Autism, Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities, Severe Learning Disabilities and Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups with emotional regulation, communication, and independence.
Assisting with personal care, sensory needs, and structured routines (depending on the setting).
Working collaboratively with teaching teams, therapists, and external agencies.
Using trauma-informed and restorative practices to build trust and promote progress.
We’re Looking For Individuals Who:
Have experience in education, care, or support roles—or are enthusiastic about gaining it.
Are patient, calm, and passionate about helping young people reach their full potential.
Understand the importance of routine, structure, and a child-centred approach.
Are happy to work flexibly across Thrive schools based on your location and preferences.
Hold a DBS on the Update Service or are willing to complete a new check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
Competitive daily rates paid via PAYE (no umbrella fees).
Guaranteed Pay Scheme (subject to availability).
Ongoing training and CPD tailored to SEND and Thrive’s ethos.
Opportunities for long-term or permanent roles within Thrive academies.
A dedicated consultant to support your career journey.
