About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Chartered Surveyor

to join our team, specialising in

property inspections and valuations

across residential and/or commercial portfolios. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of property markets, building pathology, and valuation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough

property inspections

to assess condition, structure, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Prepare detailed

valuation reports

for a variety of purposes including secured lending, taxation, acquisition, and disposal.

Use industry-standard tools and methodologies (e.g. RICS Red Book) to ensure accurate and compliant valuations.

Liaise with clients, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to gather relevant property information.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and national property markets.

Provide expert advice on property value, condition, and potential risks.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with

RICS standards

and company policies.

Support junior surveyors and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

MRICS or FRICS qualified

(essential).

Proven experience in property inspections and valuations.

Strong knowledge of

RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book) .

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable

Experience in both

residential and commercial

property sectors.

Familiarity with digital inspection tools and reporting platforms.

Additional qualifications in building surveying or project management.
