The company retains talent, with many staff staying over 12 years from Graduate to Partner.Role location and scope: Building Surveyor to join the team, working on a wide range of projects across Housing, Education, Commercial, Care and Health sectors. You will operate within a team of over 55 specialists, contributing to a third of the company’s annual turnover. Average project values range from £3M to £100M (60% existing buildings / 40% new buildings). The role primarily runs projects within the M25, with prior PM/CA and retrofit experience advantageous. The company is moving towards a sustainable future, and a passion for sustainability would be advantageous. Flexible working is offered with 2-3 office days per week. Job location: South London. Head count: 250+. Current projects: Housing, Education, Commercial, Care and Health.
Responsibilities
Lead and run building surveyor projects across a range of sectors, primarily within the M25.
Collaborate within a team of specialists contributing to significant annual turnover.
Engage with clients, manage project interfaces, and deliver high-quality surveying and project management outcomes.
Requirements
MRICS status (or working towards this).
Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline.
Successful experience of leading interdisciplinary project teams.
Excellent core building surveying and project management skills.
Track record of managing programmes of work.
Excellent client interface skills.
Embraces technology to deliver reports efficiently.
High level of up-to-date technical building knowledge.
Major works experience.
