We''re on the lookout for a highly skilled Estimator with a background in sheet metal manufacturing. If you''re experienced in CAD (ideally SolidWorks), have a sharp eye for detail, and love transforming complex drawings into accurate, commercially sound estimates - this one''s for you.

What you''ll be doing:

• Creating, reviewing, and modifying CAD drawings (SolidWorks experience preferred)

• Producing precise cost calculations covering materials, labour, and overheads

• Purchasing and sourcing materials to ensure cost-effectiveness and availability

• Advising customers on design improvements and manufacturing optimisation

• Interpreting technical drawings to assess job requirements

• Collaborating with production teams to ensure feasibility and cost accuracy

• Managing supplier relationships and negotiating material costs

• Balancing multiple projects while keeping your eye on the detail

• Supporting business growth through timely and accurate estimating

• (Bonus points for experience in Radan or similar CNC programming software)

What you''ll bring:

• Experience as an Estimator in sheet metal or metal manufacturing

• Solid CAD skills - particularly SolidWorks

• Strong technical drawing interpretation skills

• Understanding of manufacturing processes in a sheet metal environment

• Excellent maths and cost analysis skills

• Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

• Organised, detail-focused, and able to work at pace

• Radan programming knowledge is a definite plus

• Flexible, positive, and solution-focused mindset
