We are looking for a HR Manager to join our client based in Huddersfield. This is a newly created role as the HR function was previously managed through a centralised team. In order to better support their employees, the company is looking for a HR professional in Huddersfield. This role forms part of the senior leadership team and will be an integral part of the business growth. 

Main duties:

• Supporting with performance reviews
• Managing disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Holiday and absence management
• Processing new starter and leaver documentation
• Implement company standards and best practice
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business
• Support with payroll and manage any payroll queries
• Adhoc generalist HR duties

• Sound knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CIPD level 5 would be an advantage, however we will consider applications from those who are qualified by experience
• Someone who can handle sensitive information and reduce risk for the business
• The ability to deliver feedback in a clear and constructive way

• Salary Up to £50K
