Shift Pattern: Day ShiftSalary: up to £36,000 DOE Role OverviewThe CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances. Working within a high-quality engineering environment, the role will involve producing components from a variety of materials while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production targets.ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision componentsWork to tight tolerances and detailed engineering drawingsEdit CNC programmes using controls such as Heidenhain, Siemens, or Haas where requiredCarry out in-process inspection using various measuring equipmentEnsure production targets and manufacturing deadlines are achievedMaintain high standards of quality and workmanship at all timesComplete documentation to ensure full traceability of manufactured componentsFollow all health, safety and environmental proceduresCarry out basic machine maintenance including coolant checks and pre-use inspectionsWork collaboratively with other departments to support manufacturing requirementsRequirementsApprentice trained in a relevant engineering or machining disciplineExperience setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machinesCompetent using Heidenhain or Haas control ..... full job details .....
