The role plays an important part in supporting production by ensuring components are manufactured accurately, safely and in line with technical drawings and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines.Produce precision components in line with engineering drawings and specificationsMake minor edits to machining programs using Fanuc controls where necessary to maintain quality and productivityRead and interpret detailed technical drawingsCarry out in-process inspection using a range of measuring equipment and CMM where requiredWork to production schedules and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environmentFollow all health and safety procedures and report any potential risksMaintain high standards of housekeeping within the work areaRequirementsNVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Engineering or Manufacturing, or higherPrevious experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environmentExperience setting and operating CNC lathes and Milling MachinesFamiliarity with Fanuc control systemsAbility to ..... full job details .....
