Firetecnics Systems Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator for a permanent role. Location: Bermondsey, London SE1. We are a one-stop provider for everything from fire alarm installation to ongoing compliance management, combining technical expertise with proactive, personalised service.
Responsibilities
Taking reactive call-outs and allocating them to the relevant engineersPlanning and scheduling the monthly planned preventive maintenance workloadLiaising with clients to arrange appointments for engineers’ attendanceLiaising with field engineers on jobsUsing Microsoft packages on a daily basis (e.g., Excel, Outlook)Updating in-house systems with daily activitiesBuilding strong relationships with external subcontractorsCompiling necessary paperwork from services and call-outs completedProviding engineers’ reports to clients following engineers’ visitsRequesting purchase orders from clients as and when necessaryUpdating client portals, as necessaryWorking alongside the Operations Manager and liaising with the sales teamGeneral ad-hoc duties as required
Qualities
An understanding or background of the fire alarm industry would be advantageousExcellent communicator with clients as well as co-workersAble to allocate workload to engineers efficientlyAble to prioritise workload, even under highly pressurised circumstancesAble to motivate engineersWork under own initiativePerform tasks efficiently with a high level of accuracyDriven by resultsPolite and professional telephone mannerProactive and strong self-motivationFast/efficient learnerCommercially minded
Skills
A minimum of 5 years of proven clerical and administrative experience in the service industryProficient in MS Word, Excel, etc.Experience within the fire safety industry is highly desirable but not essential
