OverviewThe Graphic Designer will be a key stakeholder in shaping the brand''s creative communications alongside the Art Director and the wider Creative Studio team. The role involves leading medium and large-scale design projects from brief through delivery, collaborating with multiple departments to develop and execute strategically astute creative solutions that meet business objectives. The designer will support Mulberry''s seamless creative experience across all channels in partnership with the Visual Merchandising and Film and Photography teams.
Responsibilities
Refine, evolve and define brand guidelines, building iconography and brand signatures across a variety of media.
Present solutions to briefs that meet brand strategy, both commercially and creatively.
Lead initial concepts and expand projects across the full 360-degree spectrum with a strong understanding of business context.
Work with external suppliers, write briefs, manage budgets, develop solutions, and ensure final products meet quality standards.
Meet with briefing stakeholders to establish project objectives and timelines.
Concept creative approaches that reflect the brand positioning and are practically achievable and strategically appropriate.
Propose original routes informed by thorough research.
Manage workload and ensure timely delivery, flagging risks and delays to the Image Project Manager.
Design engaging, original, functional solutions that align to and enhance the brand''s design identity across multiple media with external suppliers and partners.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure final products meet required quality standards and are delivered on time.
Review project successes and learnings, seeking feedback and applying insights to future work.
Qualifications and Skills
Substantial experience communicating a brand across multiple channels.
Strong understanding of the fashion and retail sectors.
Analytical skills with ability to strategise medium- and long-term design solutions with multiple stages.
Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to conceive and develop design for 360° application, including spatial design and three-dimensional considerations.
Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with a positive, proactive attitude.
Collaborative mindset and flexibility to work with a range of teams and partners.
