Data and Analysis Manager

As part of Counter Fraud and Compliance and Debt (CFCD), you will be at the forefront of DWP’s operations, helping to change lives and support the purpose of fighting fraud in the welfare system.Citizen and Data Reparation Services (CDRS) is a specialized arm of CFCD focusing on reparation of benefit claims made using hijacked identities.Our goal is to support colleagues in preventing fraud, error, and debt from entering our benefit systems and to detect and correct issues quickly when prevention isn''t possible.This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity within CDRS to review fraud, error, and debt, aiming to reduce fraud and error levels in the benefit system.As the Data and Analysis Manager, you will play a key role in protecting and repairing citizen benefit records affected by fraudulent claims using hijacked identities.You will be responsible for:Collating and analyzing management information (MI), data interrogation, and analysis.Analyzing large, complex data sets to influence hijacked identity process design.Ensuring data handling complies with GDPR, challenging processes when necessary, and delivering outcomes promptly.Leading a small, remote team of Executive Officers (EOs), enhancing performance, managing operational resources effectively, and driving value for money.Motivating and developing your team through performance reviews, coaching, and learning opportunities.Supporting operational duties and managing ongoing process improvements within CDRS.Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.Using your initiative to make informed decisions and identifying risks to performance, driving continuous improvement.
