As part of Counter Fraud and Compliance and Debt (CFCD), you will be at the forefront of DWP’s operations, contributing to the fight against welfare system fraud.Citizen and Data Reparation Services (CDRS) is a specialized branch of CFCD dedicated to rectifying benefit claims made through hijacked identities.The main goal is to assist colleagues in preventing fraud, errors, and debt from entering benefit systems, and to detect and correct issues swiftly when prevention isn''t possible.This role offers an exciting challenge within CDRS, focusing on reviewing fraud, errors, and debts to reduce their occurrence in the benefit system.As the Data and Analysis Manager, you will be crucial in protecting and repairing citizen benefit records affected by fraudulent claims using hijacked identities.Your responsibilities include:Managing and analyzing management information (MI) and large data sets to inform process design.Ensuring data handling complies with GDPR, identifying process failures, and delivering outcomes promptly.Leading a small, remote team of Executive Officers, improving performance and resource utilization for better value and efficiency.Motivating, coaching, and developing team members through regular performance reviews and training.Supporting operational duties and adapting to process changes as CDRS expands.Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.Using initiative and making informed decisions independently.Identifying risks and driving continuous improvement efforts.
