Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Aerospace and DefencePermanent Long Term - Milton Keynes Area AttractiveAn opportunity has arisen for Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an Aerospace and Defence Organisation within the Milton Keynes area. The successful Mechanical Maintenance Technician will join the Engineering Services Team, reporting to the Team Leader. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance to the facility including installation and modification of the facility. Typical working hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, shift work (typical hours are 06:.30 and 14.:00 on a rotating basis).Responsibilities Required for Mechanical Maintenance Technician Conduct inspections, maintenance and repairs of the equipment involved with facility.Testing and mechanical services (planned maintenance).Responsible for the repair of plant and equipment during breakdown.Fault-finding in accordance with supervisory instructions (reactive maintenance).Installation of new plant and equipment in accordance with supervisory instructions.Share ideas on design and implementation improvements, as appropriate.Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.Provide input for the preparation and adherence to risk assessments and method statements.Compliance with site security procedures.Member of Emergency Response team.
