We are currently seeking an HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial vehicle center based in the Southampton area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with OTE of circa £48,000 with working hours being Monday 1pm-9pm, Tuesday 6am-2pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 1pm-9pm, Saturday 6-2pm (midday if desired)

Our client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position, and our client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Duties:

- Receiving and reviewing job cards as allocated by the workshop controller
- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Examining vehicles for damage or malfunctions and performing repairs or replacements
- Relining, adjusting, and replacing brakes and other critical systems
- Conducting inspections and tests to evaluate vehicle performance and safety

Requirements:

- Previous working experience within the role
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV repair, LCV, or Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1 License may be beneficial to your application
