We are partnering with a dynamic and growing hedge fund based in the heart of London to recruit a Senior Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to join a high-performing finance team within a prestigious financial institution.

OverviewThis is a full-time, on-site position requiring presence in the London office five days a week. The role is ideal for accounting professionals seeking to advance their careers within the hedge fund industry.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Collaborate with portfolio managers and operations teams to support fund activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

Prior experience in hedge funds, asset management, or financial services is highly desirable.

Strong proficiency in financial reporting and accounting systems.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
