Acting as a Finance Business Partner to Directors, Heads of Service, and budget managers.Leading financial planning, modelling, and forecasting for complex service areas.Managing a small team and delivering high-quality financial insight and reporting.Supporting the Council’s Medium-Term Financial Strategy and annual budget process.Playing a key role in closing the annual accounts and ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory standards.Qualifications

A qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience.A confident communicator who can influence and challenge at senior levels.A collaborative leader who can inspire and develop a high-performing team.Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.Values and Eligibility
