Your attention to detail, initiative, and proactive mindset will help us achieve our goal: delivering the best possible outcomes for residents at the lowest attainable cost.About the roleAs an Operational Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of key frontline services across Highways Operations and Street Scene. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and impactful, involving everything from managing the full lifecycle of Section 34 enforcement cases to issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs). You will also be responsible for conducting Health and Safety risk assessments, booking training and courses for staff, and supporting the wider team with general project coordination.To succeed in this role, you will need strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail. You should also be confident using IT systems for data entry, reporting, and document production.Essential Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceTeam Collaboration:
Experience working collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs and support continuous service improvement.Organisational Skills:
Proven ability to organise and manage workload with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with established procedures and delivering high-quality support. Experience booking training, managing calendars, and coordinating appointments.IT and Reporting Proficiency: Confident using IT systems for data entry, reporting, and document generation (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to generate performance reports and enforcement letters using templates and reporting tools and comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and digital filing systems.Project Support and Team Collaboration: Experience providing administrative support to projects or operational teams, ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues across departments and a flexible and proactive approach to supporting evolving team needsClosing Date:
