Care Home Nights Team Leader (Valley Wood Residential Home)

This post is predominantly nights; however, we will require occasional day shifts to cover annual leave, attend training, or team meetings.Responsibilities:
Coordinate, formulate, and review Resident care plansBe an effective member of the management team, taking responsibility as Duty Manager as directedResponsible for staff development, supervision, and appraisalsEnsure quality care is delivered to residents in accordance with their individual care plansLiaise with appropriate professionals to support residents in achieving their care goalsLead by example and coordinate service provision alongside staffRepresent the home at charity staff/management meetings, including disciplinary, disputes, and grievance proceduresEnsure, monitor, and record the security and safety of the home and residents'' wellbeingPromote and uphold Sheffcare''s valuesReport on significant activities during shifts using correct recording systemsImplement and uphold safe working practices in line with regulations and policiesAttend regular training as requiredSupport positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and professionalsRecord care using mobile technologySheffcare, established in 1994, is a local charity caring for older people and those living with dementia across Sheffield. Hours: 27.5 hours/weekShift pattern: 7:30 pm to 7:30 am, alternating weeks including weekends and bank holidaysPay: £14.23/hourAll new team members must attend an induction at our S13 training room, starting every three weeks on a Monday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.Benefits include:
