Our clients include many of the largest and most prestigious institutional investors across private equity, credit and real asset markets.About the Capital Markets Function at Validus:Based in London (Europe) and Toronto (North America), the Capital Markets function provides specialist front, middle and back office outsourced services for our client base of private capital managers, institutional investors and corporate clients. Pricing and trade execution of FX spot, forwards, swaps, and options via our various execution channels.Monitoring of client positions using our bespoke RiskView technologyPreparing trade requests for senior tradersEnsuring accurate trade capture where necessaryMonitoring FX and rates markets to proactively assist our clients with the risk management of their exposuresEnsuring client best execution and trading processes are adhered to in every transactionManaging counterparty relationships (banks, dealers)Carrying out adhoc project work and any other ancillary task as assigned by the Department HeadRequirements1-3 years of professional training experience in the relevant field - experience in FX preferableExperience with electronic trading systems preferred (FXall, FXConnect, Bloomberg)Exceptional attention to detailStrong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)Interest in FX markets and macro driversA desire to work in a very entrepreneurial environment, where we are constantly looking for ways to improveValidus Risk Management is an independent technology-enabled advisory firm specialising in the management of FX, interest rate and other market risks.
