Manager, Deal Desk
LOCATION: London, UK (hybrid)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Manager to join our Global Deal Desk team. This role will serve as a critical business partner to Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations, and Partner teams, supporting complex deal structuring, managing the approval process, drafting order forms for renewals and new business, and overseeing hyperscaler order placement. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence and ensure deals align with company policies, pricing guidelines, and compliance requirements.Responsibilities
Deal Strategy and Structuring
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to structure strategic and non-standard dealsReview pricing, terms, and configuration of deals to optimize revenue and maintain policy compliance
Deal Approval Process
Manage and enforce internal deal approval workflowsCoordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Expert Services, Leadership) to streamline and track approvals
Order Management
Draft and review order forms for new business, renewals, expansions, etc.Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of customer contractsManage end-to-end ordering process through hyperscaler marketplaces (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Compliance and Governance
Ensure adherence to internal pricing and discount policies, contractual standards, and audit guidelinesMaintain clean documentation of approvals and deal exceptions
Enablement and Continuous Improvement
Educate Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams on deal desk processes and best practicesRecommend and implement improvements in pricing tools, workflows, and HubSpot CRM and DealHub CPQ systems
Reporting and Analytics
Track and report key deal desk metrics including approval turnaround time, discount levels, and deal velocityProvide insights to improve deal efficiency and revenue predictability
Qualifications / Skills Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in Deal Desk within Sales Operations or Revenue Operations in an enterprise software SaaS, Cloud, or Technology company requiredDeep knowledge of deal structuring, order form creation, and contract lifecycle management requiredExperience working with hyperscaler marketplaces is highly preferred (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)Strong process orientation and experience working with global enterprise customers requiredStrong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategy, and compliance policies requiredProficiency with CRM and CPQ tools, and contract management platforms required; HubSpot and DealHub preferredResourceful and adaptable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage shifting priorities, and proactively solve problemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and provide data-driven recommendationsThis hybrid role is based in our London UK office, with the option to work remotely
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is requiredMBA or other relevant graduate-level education is preferred
