Spotify is seeking a world-class Director of Consumer Product Marketing to lead our Product Marketing organization and drive our global product marketing strategy.In this role, you will partner with senior leadership in Global Marketing and RandD to shape the product roadmap and deepen the relationship between Spotify and its community of 696M+ users. You will define the consumer narrative and go-to-market plans for Spotify’s evolving portfolio of innovative features. You will grow adoption, engagement, and love for Spotify’s product experience with users around the world. You will bring a bold and entrepreneurial approach to product marketing, strengthening Spotify’s position of leadership in this space. You will push creative boundaries to ensure Spotify''s product marketing work is always effective and excellent.Responsibilities

Lead the team of high-performing product marketers who develop and execute Spotify’s global product marketing strategyLeverage consumer insights to define the audience, positioning, and messaging for Spotify’s portfolio of product tiers and featuresPartner deeply with Spotify’s RandD organization to set product priorities and shape the consumer narrative about Spotify product experienceRepresent Marketing in the cross-functional leadership committees that steer high priority company initiativesBuild integrated marketing campaigns that break through and get consumers excited about Spotify’s roadmap of innovationsPush for creative excellence in all of our product marketing, inspiring our internal and external Creative partners to raise the bar with their workCollaborate closely with other Marketing teams (Brand, Consumer, Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks) to ensure the product is positioned in the right way across marketing initiativesGuide Spotify’s Regional Marketing teams to understand the global product marketing strategy and adapt product marketing initiativesAct as a thought leader within Marketing, inspiring the organization to innovate and embrace new ways of communicating about our productLead with vision, over the short term and long term, to help Spotify unlock its biggest opportunities and navigate its biggest challengesQualifications

You have 15+ years of experience in Marketing and 10+ years of experience in Product MarketingYou have proven success overseeing marketing for a complex and evolving product roadmapYou have managed category-leading brands known for their innovation and creativityYou’ve built large scale integrated marketing campaigns and you’ve contributed to world-class creative workYou are a data-driven marketer that knows how to identify insights and use them to build winning strategiesYou know how to organize, manage, and motivate a large team of high-performing marketersYou know how to build relationships with, communicate to, and influence senior executivesYou are highly collaborative and you excel in cross-functional environmentsYou are flexible and you can adapt to fast-changing circumstancesWhere You\''ll Be

We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be based within one of our Global Marketing hubs (New York or London).This team operates across EST and GMT time zones for collaboration.The United States base range for this position is $203,113 to $290,162 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave.
