About the Role

We''re looking for a skilled and motivated

Sous Chef

to join a small, passionate kitchen team at a busy leisure venue in Lymington. With a focus on

gastro pub-style cuisine , this role offers variety-from daily service to large-scale functions and events.You''ll support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality dishes, mentoring junior staff, and helping shape seasonal menus that showcase fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the daily running of the kitchen and lead in the Head Chef''s absence.Prepare and present dishes to a high standard for both

la carte and event menus.Support menu planning and development.Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships.Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

What We''re Looking For
