On-call: Frequency 1:50; Category A on-call supplement 3% of basic salary (pro-rata)
Hours: Full-time – 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5)

Job DetailsPost: Community Adult Consultant Psychiatrist – MHWT North (Wanstead, E11 2DH)
Status: Substantive, full-time, replacement post
Team: You will join 1.5 wte consultants, 1 wte Specialty Doctor, and 2 wte trainee doctors.
Location: Mellmead House, 4 Orchard Close, Rodney Road, Wanstead, Redbridge, E11 2DH
Responsibilities
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across northern Redbridge.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
Work directly with adults and their families and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1:50) with a 3% on-call supplement (pro-rata).
Support peers and the team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing others to work with their own initiative.
Collaborate with 1.5 wte consultants, 1 wte Specialty Doctor, and 2 wte trainee doctors.
Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
CCT or equivalent
Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
