who want to be part of this new chapter and shape something truly special in the London dining scene.Key ResponsibilitiesGreeting and seating guests: Making customers feel welcome upon arrival.Taking orders: Accurately recording food and drink requests, often providing menu information and recommendations.Serving food and beverages: Delivering orders to tables efficiently and correctly.Explain the menu: With a good knowledge of the cooking method.Recommend wine or sake: with well-knowledge about the products such as the makers.Ensuring customer satisfaction: Checking in with guests, addressing any concerns or complaints, and making sure their needs are met throughout their meal.Handling payments: Processing bills and collecting payments accurately.Maintaining the dining area: Keeping tables clean, organized, and ready for new guests.
We''re especially looking for staff with:Knowledges in Japanese cuisine and cultureExperience working in high-paced Japanese restaurantKnowledges in wine and sake (sommelier)Requirements (must have):Eligibility to work in the UKAt least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchenBasic understanding of Japanese cuisine and hygiene practicesAbility to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitalityWillingness to learn and grow with the team as the restaurant evolvesPreferred to Have:Previous experience in a Japanese or fine dining restaurantKnowledge of kaiseki, washoku, or modern Japanese fusionSushi, tempura, or robata/yakitori grilling experiencePastry or dessert-making experience, especially in Japanese sweetsConversational level of Japanese or familiarity with kitchen terminologyFood hygiene certification or relevant culinary training?
